Steps to make Karhi pakora with Masala Khicdi ππππ:
- Karhi:: Blend all the Karhi ingredients except Curry patta in blender. Pour the mixture in pan and add Karhi patta. Add 2- 3 cups water and cook Karhi for 2-3 hours on low flame

- Take oil in pan and add onion ΫΫ Fry for 3 minutes then add other ingredients of baghar excep red chii powder when baghar is done add red chilli powder and pour it to Karhi
- Khichdi:: Wash rice and dal soak them together in water for 20 minutes. Drain and keep aside until needed.
- Heat 2 tablespoons ghee Add mustard seeds and let them crackle. Add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf, black peppercorn, star anise, dry red chilli and ; sautΓ© for a minute. - Add chopped onion and sautΓ© until onion turns light brown or for approx. 1-2 minutes.
- Add drained rice, dalni her garlic,,red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. SautΓ© for 1 minute. - Add 2 cups water, mix well cook till water dried Cover and cook on low flame for 6-8 minutes. Serve hot
Test the heat by adding one cumin seed to the oil. If the cumin seeds crack right away, the oil is ready. Add the asafetida, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, stir and add bay leaves, whole red chilies, and red chili powder. I am a huge fan of Indian food. One of my favorite dishes is Kadhi Pakora.
