Usually, when i make mandi i use chilly powder. But this recipe is different, no need of chilly powder, and the taste is really close to that of the real mandi. Try it , you will like for sure. Step B : Marinating the Mutton.

Steps to make Mutton Mandi:
  1. First grind all spices of Mandi masala
  2. Make deep cuts on mutton
  3. Now marinate mutton with vinegar,white pepper,salt,ginger garlic paste,salt and grind mandi masala
  4. Massage well cover it and marinate minimum 4/5 hours
  5. After 4/5 hours put oil in a pot and keep mutton in it
  6. Fry it 5 minutes then turn it other side
  7. Now put 1 glass water.cover it and cook 1 hour on slow flame
  8. After 1 hr turn it other side and cook 1 hr more
  9. Now again after 1 hr mutton tender nicely now we fry mutton in butter and keep mutton' masala a side
  10. Put mutton mandi on greased oven tray and put some butter on it
  11. And bake it on preheated oven at 200 °c for 5 minutes
  12. For rice put oil in degcha
  13. Add some sliced onion and dry spices and fry well
  14. Now add ginger garlic paste and fry it until change in golden colour
  15. Add remaining mandi masala which we keep aside with 1.5 ltr water
  16. When water boiled add soaked rice and salt in it mix well and cook it on high flame
  17. When water began to dry up add sugar mix it again cook it until water dry compeletly
  18. Now add soaked raisins amd almonds in rice
  19. Now put green chillies and mint leaves on rice and cover it with lid and cook 15 minutes more on low flame
  20. After 15 minutes rice cooked nicely
  21. It's time to serve Mutton Mandi

Make markings on the mutton so that masala gets incorporated into the mutton. Mix the mandi masala well all over the mutton and marinate for at least one hour. Step C : Cooking the Mutton and Rice. Place a large vessel on medium flame and add oil. When the oil is heated, add the spices (cinnamon, clove, cardamom) •Now take some butter and oil in a vessel.
