  14. Make ready 15 ml. Lemon Juice

  1. Wash and clean the green leafy vegetables under running water. Drain and keep aside for an 1/2 hour to discard all water from them and then chopped it finely.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, asafoetida when all spices start crackling add the slit green chillies, saute little.
  3. Add the finely chopped spring onion with greens and saute for few minutes add the finely chopped dill leaves along with fenugreek leaves mix lightly and add blanched carrots and fried potato dices, mix gently and cook.
  4. Sprinkle salt and cover for 10-15 mins. Remove lid and sprinkle lemon juice and stir.
  5. Serve hot with chapati and dal or with parantha of your choice.
