Cinnamon Toast is one of the most popular of recent trending meals on earth. It’s appreciated by millions daily. It is easy, it is quick, it tastes yummy. They are nice and they look wonderful. Cinnamon Toast is something which I have loved my entire life.
Use a toaster to toast the bread to desired darkness. Spread butter or margarine onto one side of each slice. In a cup or small bowl, stir together the sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle generously over hot buttered toast.
To begin with this particular recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can cook cinnamon toast using 4 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.
The ingredients needed to make Cinnamon Toast:
- Prepare gluten free bread
- Get brown sugar
- Prepare dairy free spread
- Prepare ground cinnamon
It took skill; if you weren't careful holding that spoon you would end up with hilly clumps instead of an even spread. When I mentioned to my friend Heidi that I wanted to write about cinnamon toast she declared, "But it's so easy!" Then I asked her how she made hers. The trick here that makes this so different than any other cinnamon toast is you make a paste of sorts with the softened butter, cinnamon, sugar, and a pinch of salt. That paste gets spread over the bread and baked.
Instructions to make Cinnamon Toast:
- Preheat the oven to 180 oC
- Mix together the dairy free spread, brown sugar and cinnamon
- Spread on the bread and place on a baking sheet
- Bake in the oven for 10 minutes
- Serve with dusted with icing sugar and some fresh berries
It's important to get that buttery goodness all the way to the edges of the bread because after we bake it for a while to allow. But when you sprinkle on the cinnamon/sugar on after the fact, it remains loose on the surface (see above photo), partly soaking into the buttery bread. Cinnamon Toast, the Pioneer Woman Way.
