Usually, these would be made with fresh methi or fenugreek leaves, but as usual, I didn't have any in stock when the craving struck. - Make a soft dough with flour and water.
- Take some portion of dough and make a ball.Make a chapati with rolling pin.Apply Desi ghee,salt,red chilli powder,dry Fenugreek leaves on it.
- Then fold and roll again with rolling pin.Heat tawa and cook from both sides with Desi ghee and serve with curd or butter.
They are often eaten with a chutney, pickle or curd for breakfast or a meal. We personally love these with a raita or just eat plain with some lassi on the side. Methi Leaves is the heart and soul of this recipe and you cannot make this recipe without it But you can definitely make it using Fresh Methi or Dry Kasuri Methi leaves.
